any little hints on a potential sex scene? or something close to one.

topless scene?

Believe it or not, Zac was only shirtless once the entire movie. This movie didn’t put a focus on Zac’s body, it focused more on the internal struggle and passion of his character that he played extremely well. (Don’t be disappointed though, he’s gorgeous throughout the entire film. His eyes, WOW).

general mood of the movie?

It was kind of a plethora of moods, we can’t just pick one. There was romance, drama, suspense, humor, and a lot of emotion from all of the characters.

how does it differ from previous roles?

He plays an adult. There’s nothing Disney or childish about this role. He’s much more mature and worldly than any of his other characters. Personally, it’s the most grown up we’ve seen him. Also - Zac’s voice is much much deeper in this film!

is there anything you would change in the film?

We would have liked to have seen more of Zac as a marine. Those parts of the film were very quick and it would have been nice to see more of him in that role. We did love the little bit that we were shown though. He’s very believable, you almost can’t even tell it’s Zac - mostly because of the uniform, gun, and helmet, but also because he’s yelling orders in a much deeper voice.

how was the love scene? i’m curious x)

All of the love scenes were very passionate and definitely graphic at some parts. At the same time they were very classy and tastefully done. Not appropriate for a younger audience.

is Zeus in the film as it annoyed me when they dropped Oscar in CSC! LOL and is it true you see Zac’s bum!!

Yes! Zeus is in the film, and so are several other dogs (very cute scenes with Logan and the dogs!). And yes, there’s a moment in one of the sex scenes where Zac is standing upright with only his boxer briefs on, but they’re pulled down halfway in the back, so you can see umm… well, you know

did you take pictures at the screening? zac was there? i’m so excited about your tumblr post!

Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take photos at the screening. We took a picture of the Arclight sign, but that’s it. We were told to turn our phones off and all of our possessions were kept in plastic bags with security outside the theatre doors. All of us were even scanned by metal detectors & our bags were checked before we could enter (it was like going through an airport). Zac was not there, but the director Scott Hicks was, along with others involved in the film such as producers, editors, etc.

who was at the screening from the cast and behind the scene crew?

No one from the cast was in attendance, just the director, managers, producers, editors, etc.

where was the screening held?

The Arclight in Pasadena

did they tell something about when the trailer comes out?

They made no comments about the trailer, but the film is set to be released either in November or December, so it’s possible that the trailer could be released extremely soon. Trailers typically come out 2-3 months before a film releases (although that’s always subject to change).

any tears? and was is better than CSC?

There are quite a few scenes that are very emotional, and not just with Zac’s character. There were many people crying a few times throughout the film, myself included! We personally thought this film was much better than CSC, but that’s just our opinion. We loved the storyline more, the acting, the soundtrack, everything. We overall just thought it was a better film (still love CSC though!)

how is the relationship between Logan and Ben? Cute as in the book?

DEFINITELY. Their relationship is one of the most adorable things we’ve ever seen. Some of the best scenes in the film are between Logan and Ben.

is the movie close to the book? what are the differences?

Overall, they stayed pretty close to the book, but there were differences. The relationship between Logan and Zeus wasn’t as close as it was portrayed in the book. His journey to get to Beth was cut a lot. He wasn’t portrayed as a mysterious drifter, but there were a couple scenes of him taking the journey with Zeus. They added a few things (one of things being the most badass moment of the movie. Zac was AM-A-ZING).

did you like the movie?

Even if we weren’t hardcore fangirls, we would still love this movie. The characters were lovable (minus one), the soundtrack was enjoyable and fit perfectly with each scene, the landscape was gorgeous, the cinematography was fantastic, and Zac stole the show. Not even we were expecting Zac to be THAT good. During one scene, he gave us goosebumps and made us cry!

We were involved in a small focus group at the end of the film chosen for a Q&A with the filmmakers. We got to listen to several other opinions from people in the audience (as well as give our own), and everyone was very pleased and even surprised with how good the film was. One person said that this role is definitely “Zac’s breakthrough performance” — And we agree!

Clearing some things up about the sex scenes in TLO…

We think some of you might be confused about the way we described the sex scenes in TLO. Let us rephrase: Instead of saying it was 3 separate scenes, we should have said that it was more like a long scene with separate parts. The scenes aren’t scattered through the film, it all happens at once. It’s hard to explain. It’s a lot of romance/sex in one part of the film. We don’t want to go into detail about the scenes because we don’t want to spoil it, but it was really beautifully and tastefully done. Everyone will love it

Vielleicht ein kleiner Hinweis auf mögliche Sex Szenen? Oder etwas in der Richtung.

Seht auf unserem tumbrl Post dazu nach(den habe ich untern zusätzlich übersetzt). Dort habe wir einige Sachen dazu geschrieben.

Oberkörperfreie Scenen?

Glaub es oder nicht Zac ist nur einmal während des gesamten Films Oberkörperfrei. Der Film richtet sein Augenmerk nicht auf Zac´s Körper sondern dreht sich um
den inneren Kampf und die Gefühle seines Charakters, was er sehr gut darstellt.
(Nicht enttäuscht sein, er ist den gesamten Film über super. Seine Augen, WOW)

Stimmung im Film?

Der Film ist voll mit unterschiedlichen Stimmungen und es ist nicht möglich eine herauszupicken. Da gibt es Romanze, Drama, Spannung, Humor und sehr viele Emotionen von allen Charakteren.

Wie unterscheidet sich diese Rolle von all den anderen?

Er spielt einen Erwachsenen. Es gibt keine Disney oder kindisches Getue. Er ist viel erwachsener und weltgewandter als in all seinen anderen bisherigen Rollen.
Wir persönlich finden es ist das Erwachsenste was man von ihm bis jetzt gesehen hat und….seine Stimme ist viel, viel tiefer in diesem Film.

Irgendetwas was ihr an dem Film ändern würdet?

Wir hätten gern mehr von Zac als Marine gesehen. Diese Szenen sind sehr kurz und es wäre toll gewesen mehr von Zac in dieser Rolle gesehen. Aber das bisschen was es zu sehen gab war klasse. Er ist sehr glaubwürdig und man hat fast nicht geglaubt das es überhaupt Zac ist. Hauptsächlich wegen der Uniform, der Waffe und dem Helm aber auch weil er Befehle schreit und seine Stimme so tief ist.

Wie waren die Liebesszenen?

Dieses Szenen waren sehr leidenschaftlich

Hast du Bilder vom Film gemacht? War Zac da?

Es durften keine Bilder gemacht werden, ein Bild vom Lichterbogen(Beleuchtung) das wars. Wir mussten unsere Handy ausschalten und all unsere Sachen blieben in Plastikbeutel außerhalb des Theaters bei der Security. Wir wurden sogar mittels Detektoren gescannt und unsere Taschen durchsucht (es war wie auf einem Flughafen) erst danach durften wir rein.
Zac war nicht da, aber Direktor Scott Hicks sowie andere die etwas mit dem Film zu tun hatten wie Producer, Editor ect.

War vom Cast und der Behind the Scene Crew jemand da?

Niemand es waren nur Direktor, Producer, Managers, Editors anwesend.


Habe sie etwas gesagt ab wann es einen Trailer geben wird?

Sie habe nichts über den Trailer gesagt aber sie meinten der Film würde in November oder Dezember
rauskommen, daher ist es gut möglich das der Trailer sehr bald kommen könnte. Trailer kommen meist ungefähr 2-3 Monate vor den Film raus.

Tränen? Und war es besser als CSC?

Es gibt eine paar Szenen die schon recht emotional waren, nicht nur mit Zac´s Charakter. Da habe einige während des Film geweint, ich inklusive. Persönlich sind wir der Meinung das der Film besser ist wie CSC, aber das ist nur unsere Meinung. Wir lieben die Story, das Schauspielern, den Soundtrack einfach alles. Im gesamten finden wir den Film besser wie CSC (wir mögen CSC aber trotzdem)

Wie ist die Beziehung zwischen Logan und Ben? Genau so toll wie im Buch?

Auf jeden Fall!! Einige der besten Szenen im Film sind die von Logan und Ben.

Ist der Film dem Buch nahe? Was gibt es für Unterschiede?

Es gibt ein paar Unterschiede aber im gesamten bleiben sie schon sehr nahe am Buch. Die Beziehung zwischen Logan und Zeus war nicht so nahe wie sie im Buch beschrieben wurde. Seine Reise um zu Beth zu kommen wurde sehr gekürzt, er war nicht der mysteriöse Landstreicher. Aber es gibt ein paar Szenen von seiner Reise mit Zeus. Es kamen ein paar Sachen hinzu (eine davon ist der größte badass Moment im Film.)

Mochtest du den Film?

Auch wenn wir keine Hardcore-Fangirls wären hatte uns der Film gefallen, liebenswerte Charakter( außer einer), ein Soundtrack der super zu jeder Szenen passte und den man sich gut anhören konnte, schöne Landschaften(Kulissen) und ein Zac der jedem die Show stahl. Selbst wir habe nicht damit gerechnet das Zac so gut sein würde und bei einer Szene bereitete er uns Gänsehaut und brachte uns zum weinen.

Wir waren am Ende des Films bei einer ausgesuchten Gruppe für Fragen&Antworten mit den Filmmacher. Wir hörten die Meinungen der anderen (und sagten unsere Eigene) und jeder war überrascht und begeistert wie toll der Film geworden ist. Einer sagte das diese Rolle Zacs Durchbruch sein würde und wir können dem nur zustimmen.



Wir haben das Gefühl das einige von euch doch etwas irritiert darüber sind wie wir die Sex Szenen in TLO zuvor beschrieben haben.
Lasst es uns besser erklären. Anstatt zu sagen das es drei Szenen sind sollten wir besser sagen das es sich um einen lange handelt die in drei Part geteilt wurde. Die Parts wurden auch nicht im gesamten film verteilt sondern finden schon in eins statt. Es ist schwer zu beschreiben. Es ist einiges an SEX/Romanze in einem Teil des Film. Wir wollen jetzt nicht zuviel sagen und somit alles schon verraten aber es ist schön gemacht. Ihr werde es mögen.
